Parish Mission
A
Needs Assessment Survey was handed to the Parish on April 29, 2001
and a task force was formed to summarize the overwhelming response
of surveys. The Leadership Committee then reviewed the summary and
identified several focus points for the next twelve months.
It was
obvious from the results of the parish survey that the highest
priority for Holy Redeemer catholic parish is to increase our
physical presence by: growing the
Faith Community, obtaining property and building our own place to
gather and worship.
Beyond the top priority of increasing our physical presence in the
community, the following priorities were also identified:
q To
provide “full, conscious, active” and meaningful Worship
q To
provide Social and Community Building opportunities
q To
provide a quality Catechetical Program to hand down the history,
teaching and traditions of the Catholic Church
q To
provide continued Adult Faith Formation
q To
provide outreach to the needy
q
To provide outreach to the unchurched and those on the periphery of
the Church
