PhoneRaiser
in Full Swing! Don't forget to ask your friends, co-workers and neighbors
for their old cell phones. Remember they also are entitled to a
tax-deductible donation receipt which are located near the receptacle.
Phones either working or not, can also be brought to the office during the
week.
PLEASE NO CHARGERS OR MANUALS.
All proceeds from our recycling efforts will go towards our building fund.
Our goal is $10,000.
Not only are we
collecting old cell phones and their batteries (no chargers please), we
are also collecting used inkjet cartridges that have never been
refilled. There is a box by the entrance that is marked for this
project. Be sure to put cartridges in a plastic bag so they don't spill.
Thank you for your continued participation in this program.
Want to Recycle
your regular alkaline batteries? Standard batteries can be collected and
taken to the same place that accepts aluminum cans.. like the junkyard
lot on Ft. Worth Highway in Weatherford. Rechargeable batteries can be
recycled at the service center in any Lowe's.

the park on Ranch House Road at the fire station area. Youth --namely
high school students -- are needed to power this project. Please call
Virginia for ideas or to volunteer. 817-599-3044. A storybook tent has
been suggested and we are looking for other ideas as well. Thank you for
